SAFEbuilt Acquires Municipal Building Inspection Solutions
SAFEbuilt has recently finalized the acquisition of Municipal Building Inspection Solutions (MBIS), a highly regarded building inspection company focused on providing complete and professional inspection and plan review services to municipalities.
MBIS, headquartered in Bedford Heights, Ohio, was founded in 2012 and currently serves 19 communities in Ohio. Municipal Building Inspection Solutions will now operate under the branding of SAFEbuilt in all markets.
MBIS’ former president, Jeffery Filarski is excited about the next chapter for the company.
“SAFEbuilt will seamlessly transition into an ownership role with the existing group of talented individuals here at MBIS. They provide the resources and growth opportunities moving forward that cannot be matched by current ownership,” Filarski said. “SAFEbuilt is committed to continuing the professional development of our existing model and will strive to work with clients and employees to improve upon this level of service.”
With the acquisition of MBIS, SAFEbuilt enhances its presence in Ohio. The combination allows SAFEbuilt to add resources and insight from different communities to better serve this area.
“We are very excited about this acquisition as there is great synergy between the two companies,” explained Mike McCurdie, SAFEbuilt President and CEO. “There is a strong cultural fit and both organizations share very similar core values, especially the passion for providing exemplary, professional service to our clients.”
Clients on both sides will continue to receive the same high quality that they have come to expect over the years.
Partnering with communities on the rise to help them become the best versions of themselves.
