EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM (ELT)
Mike McCurdie purchased Colorado Inspection Agency, now known as SAFEbuilt, in 1999. The reasons for SAFEbuilt’s success over the past 25 years are many, but they all start with Mike’s commitment to clients and employees. He has fostered an environment in which people who are passionate about the work can excel. Mike has always led the company to provide the highest quality service. Under Mike’s leadership, we are able to offer our clients service levels, depth of resources, and capabilities usually available only in the largest municipal or county departments.
Matt Royer joined SAFEbuilt as the Chief Building Official in the Eagle, Colorado office back in 2005. He brings two decades of hands-on experience as a building inspector, plans examiner and building official to the company. Today, Matt is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company including oversight of the operations managerial team and business systems. He takes great pride in working each day to measure progress and adjusting processes accordingly to help keep the entire organization on track to meet our client’s needs.
Tiffany joined SAFEbuilt in 2016 and is the Chief Technology Officer. She has over 15 years of experience helping public and private companies with corporate and go-to-market strategy as well as acquisition, development and integration of new technology tools and services. As SAFEbuilt continues to offer cutting edge technology that assist community development departments, Tiffany’s role is vital to our client’s success with their customers – whether residents, businesses or developers. Her mission is to provide innovative and reliable solutions that empower and support our employees in the office or the field and differentiate SAFEbuilt as a leading services provider.
Tom Wilkas joined the SAFEbuilt team in March 2017. He possesses more than 25 years of experience leading finance and operations for global companies in the business services, technology, consumer products and manufacturing sectors. With a career split between publicly traded companies and private equity-backed firms, Tom has created long-term, sustainable growth models for high growth companies as well as companies in turnaround mode. He is currently responsible for improving and scaling SAFEbuilt’s financial reporting, forecasting, and other Finance and Accounting related efforts.
